Natalie & Jay had a beautiful summer day for their wedding. It was the perfect sunny, but not too hot kind of day. They filled it with partying, laughter and fun with their guests. The space had lovely touches of greenery, rose gold and white. The bridesmaids had lovely rose gold sparkly dresses that accented their style perfectly.

Laurelhurst Flowers had green wreaths encircling candles at each table with small peachy pink rose buds throughout. It was simple and elegant.

La Jaconde made a gorgeous four tiered cake and every layer’s flavors looked to die for. You’ll have to look for images from Holland Studios to see for yourself!

DJ Aaron Harris was here keeping everyone on the dance floor – and believe me I don’t think people left much except to rehydrate. Congratulations Natalie & Jay!

Kayleigh and Christiansen shared a bright and sunny day here at The Foundry. They were such a stunning couple, and you could easily see the love that they shared with one another. This first look had us swooning over their love, as both looked like there was no body else in that moment, except them.

Huge thank you to Kayleigh and Christiansen for sharing their day with us!

These two looked amazing on their day at The Foundry! Their beautiful summer wedding here in Oregon, was met with their stunning smiles. These two looked so in love, that we cannot stop smiling, as we browse the photos.

They were gracious, and also left us an amazing review about their experience here. Take a look at their day below.

An amazing review written by our couple:

“As soon as we toured the Foundry, I immediately knew it was the right venue for us. We loved that we were able to have our ceremony outside and reception indoors. We were pleased with how relatively affordable the venue was for 10 hours. Our ceremony outside on the deck by the water ended up being so unique and gorgeous. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the event was. We were so happy with our choice to get married at the Foundry!”

It may have rained on Ashley & Edward’s wedding day, but the show still went on. We prepared with tent on the promenade, and a smaller one up on the deck so guests could still mingle and get some fresh air throughout the evening. Thank you to Ohana for getting those up for the weekend before the rain came.

This was a simple and elegant wedding day. There were beautiful touches with the floral arrangements and twinkling lights above the dance floor, from Greenlight Creative. Ashley & Ed were stunning and were smiling all day long. Before the wedding ceremony these two were both so calm, and collected. That is a wonderful sight to see, they showed their love, and it was clear they were ready to celebrate their love.

A big thank you to the wedding day’s success goes to the fabulous team at Pearl Catering because they make the wedding day look effortless. The band they had during their day, Pressure Point Band, kept people dancing and grooving all night. The delicious desserts were from Lux Sucre and, let me tell you, they were very delicious.

Congratulations Ashley & Edward! Cheers to you both!

It was a beautiful summer day at the Foundry for Taylor and Benjamin. They had a quiet ceremony out by the river with close family and friends. The ceremony was perfect with all the florals and colors that complimented each other. We could not take our eyes off of the stunning couple, who looked so in love.

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the deck with soft tunes from PDX DJs and delicious appetizers from Cheryl’s on 12th catering. Following cocktail hour guests went into the great hall where there was a beautiful floral chandelier hung above the dance floor and summery pink decor. The reception had a great line up of dinner, toasts, cake cutting, and dancing. PDX DJ’s did a great job getting the party started on the dance floor, with all of their guests happy as ever.

The night ended with a magical sparkler exit and Taylor and Ben drove away in a white convertible. It was a perfect ending, to a perfect day here at the Foundry. We are so glad we were able to be a part of Taylor and Ben’s special day!

Indoor VS Outdoor Wedding

Choosing an indoor or outdoor wedding is a very important deciding factor when it comes to planning the look and feel of your big day. Think of this step as your starting off point, depending on which option you choose will influence each decision you make thereafter. Here are our top reasons why we love both indoor and outdoor weddings!
One of the biggest perks of having an indoor wedding is predictability. If the weather is a concern than an indoor wedding is a perfect way to eliminate that stress. Plus your guests can relax knowing their formal attire will be free and clear of any rain or sweat. Not to mention no will be too hot or cold. This alone allows for a more enjoyable experience for your loved ones!
Another great perk of an indoor wedding is decorating ease. No need to worry about wind, rain or even sun limiting your design options. If you are envisioning hanging florals and sweeping drapes, an indoor space typically allows for a wide variety of easy installation!
If the weather is not an issue for you and you always dreamt of an outdoor wedding then we got you covered!
Nothing beats natural lighting. From a photography standpoint, everything photographs better in natural light! The wedding dress will pop, hair and makeup will look flawless and florals will be a show stopper.
Also deciding on an outdoor venue gives guests an opportunity to be out in nature and witness breathtaking scenery.
Why both options provide completely different advantages, your wedding day should be a time you look back on that truly embodies your true love with your partner. Remember to stay true to who you are as a couple, while still considering your guest’s experience and there will be no doubt your wedding day will be absolutely perfect!

Marissa and Brett

Marissa and Brett said “I do” in front of all of their family and friends. It was a rainy week so they had their wedding inside and it was beautiful! Guest enjoyed a delicious meal by Vibrant Table and spent the night dancing and mingling. It was a great day!

Amanda and Cameron

The summer had its second wind for the weekend of Amanda and Cameron’s wedding day! They had a beautiful ceremony in the Great Hall with an amazing brick backdrop that was built by family! Much of the decor was DIY and it turned out absolutely beautifully. After an intimate reception, family and friends sent the couple off with a tunnel of sparklers.
