Makenzie and Brian had the perfect end-of-August, waterfront wedding. After a lovely ceremony on the Promenade at The Foundry at Oswego Pointe, the bridal party and guests moved into the Great Hall for a breathtaking, sunset themed reception. Sparklers fit the theme well, so guests saw the newlyweds off at the end of the night through a tunnel of sparklers. 🙂
After some thunder, lightning, and some famous Portland rain, the sun came out and shone throughout Ali and Cody’s wedding day. The couple was married on the waterfront at the Riverfront Amphitheatre adjacent to The Foundry at Oswego Pointe. Bright pink accents popped throughout the wedding party apparel and the reception in the Great Hall. After fun toasts, which were all accompanied by a prop or two, the couple danced the night away and then walked through a tunnel of sparklers to say goodbye.
What a fun party! 🙂 Kalie, Alex, and their family and friends rocked the house as they celebrated their summer marriage. Guests flew in to Portland from all over the country to support the newlyweds. Soft pinks accented the elegant reception, and dramatic draping hung over the dance floor.
Elizabeth and Craig had a gorgeous August ceremony on the Promenade under an arbor made by Elizabeth’s dad. The processional even included adorable “ring security” boys. 🙂 Their reception in the Great Hall was filled with laughter and fun games. Everybody stayed to party into the night and then see off the newlyweds under a tunnel of sparklers.
Today was a beautiful day celebrating the marriage of Kathleen and Adam. They wrote their own vows, so you can imagine all of the tears from the guests. 🙂 Following dinner, Lauren, who is the bride’s sister and was the Maid of Honor, sang a few beautiful songs in honor of the newlyweds. Afterwards, it was time to hit the dance floor until late into the night and enjoy a late night snack of s’mores!
After Monica danced down the aisle for her wedding ceremony, she and Tommy said their vows in the company of family and friends with the beautiful waterfront view in the background. Afterwards, guests enjoyed pink signature cocktails in the Portland sunshine and moved into the Great Hall for dinner. The toasts were an ode to how much the newlyweds were loved. 🙂 Later, the pair livened up their first dance with a song mash up and fresh moves!
